The artwork entitled “Collective Cover”, is a long term project initiated by artist, Ann Morton. This website has been created to support the work by providing circumstantial information regarding each Member in this Collective which has been generated by the finding of lost or abandoned objects. Access to the Members' Constructed Archives can be found on the SEARCH FOR MEMBER pages where you can learn about the "history" of each object from the moment it was found. Although you will find an array of archived information about the circumstances surrounding the finding of these lost items — each object conjuring imagined stories surrounding the real-life person to whom it was once connected — in truth, what none of us can ever know, is the real history embedded within the fibers of each Member in the Collective Cover project.
